This is usually our biggest fundraiser of the year. The goal of the event is to raise approximately $8,000 while providing a fun social event for parents and school community. This position selects the gala venue, food, beverages, and theme. The position also holds regular meetings with the other gala coordinators – Donations, Decorations, and Sponsorship
This is usually a fun community event. While a carnival like years past might night be possible, this committee can coordinate an alternative event for students and the Grant community. Ideas may include a parade in the park, trunk or treat, pumpkin carving or costume contest
This volunteer coordinates and organizes the K-5 Art Docent Program, which starts in the Spring. Help recruit volunteers for each class in Tk-5th grades to teach a series of six art lessons, purchase and organize materials for thirty-six lessons. Host an orientation for volunteers and prepare materials for the six-month art lesson series. Set up art room. Prepare end of the year art show.
